Rural Northwest Ohio Beer and Wine Festival:
The Rural Northwest Ohio Beer and Wine Festival is held September 24th at the Henry County Fair Grounds. Featuring local breweries, wineries, food trucks, bands and more! Glass City Beer Fest: The annual Glass City Beer Fest is held March 3rd at the Lucas County Recreation Center in Maumee. Over 40 breweries attend this event and showcase over 230 beers. Food vendors and musical entertainment are also a part of the event, and proceeds go to supporting local programs. Toledo Beer Week: The Toledo Beer week is an opportunity to promote and enjoy some of the beer offered by Toledo’s local breweries. This event is held in April and has a wide variety of fun events centered around the community’s breweries! Bowling Green Bourbon and Brew Fest: Held at the Bowling Green ball park in October, the Bowling Green Bourbon and Brew Fest is a chance for breweries in the area to show off their beer. With over 60 breweries and distilleries there are plenty of chances to sample all the beer and bourbon you could want. |
Columbus Beer Fest: The Columbus Winter Beer Fest takes place on January 20-21, 2017 at the Columbus Convention Center. Over 130 breweries will be represented, offering over 450 craft beers. There will be live music both days, as well as a mustache contest!
Cleveland Beer Fest: Cleveland’s Winter Beer Fest will be held on January 27-28, 2017 at the Cleveland Convention Center. CBF boasts over 400 craft beers and will have plenty of live music during the festival. Funds will be raised to support the Music Education Society, a non-profit that benefits underfunded music programs in schools. Rubber City Beer Fest: The Rubber City Beer Fest will be held on March 25, 2017 in the city of Akron. Over 20 regional breweries will be represented here. Food trucks will be available to provide food for the event. Columbus Craft Beer Week: May 12-20, 2017 will find beer enthusiasts gathering in Columbus for an entire week’s worth of craft beers. Events will be scattered throughout different venues during the nine day event. A variety of events ranging from food and beer pairings, meet the brewer, and special classes will keep you “hop”ping all week! Flats Beer Fest: Mid-June, beer fans will gather in Cleveland at the Nautica Entertainment Complex for the Flats Beer Fest. Local and national brews can be found here, as well as food trucks supplying regular and vegetarian/vegan menus. Blues and Brews Craft Beer Fest: Touted as Ohio’s oldest craft beer festival, the Blues and Brews Craft Beer Fest takes place in early August every year. Many regional breweries will be taking part in this festival, as well as many out of state breweries. This festival is held in Akron. Cleveland Beer Week: Cleveland Beer Week occurs during mid-October and will highlight over 350 events during the week. Special tappings, educational courses, dining events, and tastings are some of the festivities on the agenda. Brewfest Wooster: Brewfest Wooster is a one day event taking place January 28, 2017. Over a dozen breweries will participate in the festival. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Wayne County Center for the Arts. |
Southwest OhioBockFest:
Located Over-the-Rhine on the border of Southwestern Ohio, this three day long event celebrates bock beer and the local tradition of craft brewing. The festival features multiples events such as a 5K run, a full parade, live music, and tours of various breweries. With multiple venues serving up great food in a comfortable environment, this festival is great for both avid beer connoisseurs and families alike. Bad Ass Beer Fest: Sponsored by Bad Tom Smith Brewing Co., this event features a variety of local craft brews such as favorites from MadTree, Urban Artifact, and Blank Slate. This outdoor festival located in Cincinnati, OH also features nine live music acts. Add in the great July weather and there is no way you will want to miss this! BewilderFest: This is a truly unique music and beer festival held annually in downtown Cincinnati. The festival showcases a variety of specialty beers, and is brought to you specifically by Urban Artifact brewery. This event is held in August. Cincy Brew Ha-Ha: This three day long event combines great brews with great humor, all adding up to an experience you can’t get anywhere else. The festival features over 120 craft and regional breweries. With a huge line-up of both featured and amateur comedians, as well as local food vendors, the outdoor event provides a truly unique experience. Oktoberfest, Zinnzinnati: There is no doubt that this festival is one of the largest festivals located in Southwestern Ohio. In fact, it is the largest Oktoberfest in the nation! This festival truly represents the deep German heritage that lies within the heart of Cincinnati, OH. Not only does the festival showcase an incredible amount of various local, regional, and big name brews, but it also provides fest-goers with a race, parades, tons of food vendors providing traditional German cuisine, and a huge line-up of live music. This culmination of brews, food, and a unique culture brings in over 500,000 attendees annually. The festival is held in September each year. |
Southeast OhioOhio Brew Week:
Brings in around 250 brews from over 40 craft breweries across Ohio. Throughout the week there are a series of free tasting events, brewery tours, and beer education. Ohio Brew Week will be held July 14-22nd 2017 at various venues surrounding Ohio University. |
